The Household Support Fund is now closed for new applications. The last day to submit
applications was Friday 13th March 2026.
If you applied before the deadline, your application will not be affected, and you will receive your application decision over the coming weeks.

Important changes to Auriga voucher provision in Somerset
The government's Household Support Fund (HSF) ceased on 31st March 2026. It is being replaced by a new fund called the Crisis and Resilience Fund.
The Auriga Online Portal is part of the HSF government package, which means this existing mechanism of support stopped from the end of March this year.
The new Crisis and Resilience Fund will provide access to food support. Any family facing food shortage will be able to secure 'cash-first' support. This is a new service and will be starting shortly. As soon as details are available about how and where to access support this will be communicated widely.
